Hello! I’m Purple Laura.

I make quirky, fun preserves as well as cakes and many other sweet treats!

All my food is made with quality ingredients, locally sourced if possible (local free range eggs before you ask!).

I use fruit and veg when it is in season and at its best. Much of it comes from local excess produce (starting in my garden!) giving a more sustainable approach to life.

I make preserves the old fashioned way- by hand in open preserving pans (I’m particularly fond of my Gran’s old one.)

Baking is my other passion. I tend to base a lot of it on seasonal fruit and veg-my beetroot brownies are gaining a cult following!

I’m based in Congleton, Cheshire.
